About Florence

Florence DiJohnson works at the intersection of philanthropy, institutions, and civic life.

She has held leadership and advancement roles across leading academic and cultural institutions, serving as Director of Strategy at the Harvard Graduate School of Design and currently as Associate Director of Development at the MIT Museum.

Over the past decade, she has partnered with donors, foundations, and institutional leaders to advance philanthropic investments supporting capital initiatives, access in education, research and scholarship, technology, and public engagement.

Florence holds a Master of Science in Exhibition Design from Pratt Institute and a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from the University of Vermont.

Florence lives in Boston with her Cavapoo, Watson. She enjoys being on the water, playing golf, and time around the dinner table with family and friends.
